Can I change a booking?
That depends on the hotel's policy. We publish each property's policy on the site, so it's worth comparing if you want to keep your booking flexible. We process all changes through our Customer Service Centre to make sure everything goes smoothly, and charge a nominal processing fee for all changes and cancellations. A administration fee of $45 may apply.

How can I cancel my hotel booking?
Your booking can be cancelled by contacting our Sales and Customer Care Team.
Please do not contact the hotel directly as they are unable to issue refunds (if applicable) for your booking.
Amendments or cancellation made to prepaid bookings outside the hotel cancellation penalty window (i.e., hotel fee is not charged) will be charged a TravekMx fee of AUD53 per order.

For amendments or cancellations made to prepaid bookings within the cancellation penalty period (i.e., Hotel fee is charged per room),
What can I do to change my flight booking?

Changes and cancellations are subject to the rules of the fare that you have purchased.

Please contact our Sales and Customer Care Team for assistance. Our team will go through the fare conditions with you, check availability on the dates and flights you wish to travel on, as well as advise you if your ticket needs to be revalidated/reissued.

If you are already at your destination and wish to make changes to your onward flights, please call the airlines' local office directly.

Pacific Fare :
* Ticket refunds, re-issues, and changes (where permitted by the airline) may incur any fare difference, airline fees and a fee of AUD65 per ticket. Ticket cancellations for international flights will incur a fee of AUD 130 per ticket plus any airline fees.

Singapore Portal:
* Ticket amendments (where permitted by the airline) may may incur any fare difference, airline fees and a fee of SGD45 per ticket. Ticket cancellations will incur a fee of SGD50 per ticket plus any airline fees.
Hong Kong Portal:
* Ticket amendments (where permitted by the airline) may incur any fare difference, airline fees and a fee of HKD350 per ticket. Ticket cancellations will incur a fee of HKD350 plus any airline fees.

Can I make a reservation for more than one room?

Yes, you can select the number of rooms required simply by entering the number in the property's drop down box.

Can I choose where I want my room located ie; on the 1st floor; smoking/non-smoking; what about other requests?
You are welcome to enter your requests in the comments box provided. Your accommodation provider will aim to accommodate your needs but can only guarantee them subject to availability.

Is the room rate per person or per nite?
All room rates advertised are quoted on a nightly basis for the room or apartment, unless otherwise stated. There may be additional charges for extra guests.

Do I need a credit card to make a booking?
Yes, you will need to provide us with your valid credit card details, in order to secure your reservation at your chosen destination.

How do I know my credit card details are safe?
We treat all your personal details as strictly confidential. Your credit card details will only be used for the purposes of booking your accommodation. To ensure your security, all credit card transactions are transmitted with the use of 128bit encryption methods.

Who will charge my credit card?
TravelMx or Its Suppliers directly debit you credit card, your booking, payment for your accommodation plus a booking fee is payable at the time of booking directly by the suppliers or TravelMx.


How do I know my reservation is guaranteed?
Your reservation is guaranteed once you receive a confirmation e-mail from us. You will usually receive this within 10 minutes of your booking. Please print the confirmation page and present it to reception upon arrival.

What if a Hotel is overbooked?
All availability on TracekMx is uploaded and managed directly by each hotel and once you have received your confirmation, your reservation is confirmed. If for any reason the hotel is not able to accommodated you. The hotel will find you alternative accommodation in a hotel of equal star rating at an equal rate.
